A strange thing is taking place in the wake of Proposition 8 passing in California. The homosexual community and its supporters, those who have preached that hate and intolerance have no place in our society today, are suddenly practicing exactly what they say has victimized them so long, slinging hate-filled and angry comments at Mormons and Christians during their protest marches as though they're the only groups or people who voted in favor of the measure.
The Proposition 8 blowback isn't limited to California either. It's becoming a nationwide phenomena, my suspicion being that the homosexual community thought a win there would fast forward their efforts elsewhere.
In Bible prophecy we're told that Christians will be persecuted for their faith in Jesus Christ and adherance to the Word of God.
The ire of the homosexual agenda, as recent events exemplify, may well prove to be a factor in the persecution of Christians worsening in severity, particularly in light of the political leanings of the man who is going to occupy the White House soon.
Now that the shoe is on the other foot, so to speak, Christians are learning something I've known to be true for a long time: Tolerance is a one-way street that flows away from God.
Bible prophecy told us to expect this in every manner. It's coming around.
