Delroy Ellis is a Youth Worker in Gloucester with a passion. That passion is to provide youngsters with positive avenues to express themselves ensuring they stay out of trouble.
Music, sport and performing feature strongly as part of his vision and the success he has achieved, including being nominated to be a Prince's Trust Ambassador.
Delroy has developed Gloucester's Increase The Peace project - raising awareness to youngsters about the negatives of gangs, guns and knives. This project has already seen talented young artists produce a CD that has been sold in CD, with all the songs having an urban style but positive story.
www.increasethepeace.org website is being developed at the moment and with the fundraising efforts the project is working on - we hope to see this positive work go from strength to strength.
