(Zac storms back into the kitchen angrily.) CORBIN: Whoa, dude. What's up? ZAC: That...that brat Ashley is what's up! CORBIN: Ashley? Who's Ashley? ZAC: Mr Fulton's new employee. Our workmate! And I've been assigned to "look after her, show her around, make her feel welcome". *growls* VANESSA: You mean the new girl? That thin blonde one? ZAC: Yeah, her. VANESSA: *shudders* I swear, she's anorexic. ZAC: Well, I caught her smoking in the locker room. And smoking's supposed to stop your hunger, isn't it? (Nobody notices, but Ashley creeps into the kitchen quietly.) CORBIN: Well, all I can say is the girl's damn hot! Wonder what she's like in bed... *licks his finger which he presses against his bum, and makes a "sss" noise* (Ashley grabs his arm from behind and bends it back) ASHLEY: Firstly, I am not anybody's little Barbie doll. Secondly, you'll never get to know what I'm like in bed. And thirdly (her grip tightens so much Corbin winces)...get a haircut. (She lets go. Monique hurries over with with an ice pac as Ashley walks out.) CORBIN: Ouch! *rubs his arm* What a b*tch! VANESSA: Are you OK? CORBIN: Yeah, yeah, I'm fine. *shrugs away from Monique* I don't need a medical check-up, thanks. KEVIN: That girl is nasty...! (Everyone turns to Zac) KEVIN: Wow, dude, you actually have to look after her! VANESSA: I pity you, cuz. ZAC: *gulps, but grins* Well, how hard can it be? I just hope her bark's worse than her bite. CORBIN: *continues rubbing his arm* Trust me, dude, the bite's worse. (Alyson, Zac's childhood friend, walks in) ALYSON: Can I smell waffles? ZAC: Alyson, hey...! ALYSON: *smiles at Zac, wrapping her arms round him* Hey, Zac. So, what's the gossip? *frowns at Corbin* Yo, C-Dude, what's up? KEVIN: The guy got himself into a bit of a b*tchfight. It wasn't pretty. ALYSON: Aww...poor Corbin! *smiles* Look, I'm gonna go and make a phonecall...two minutes, OK? (When she leaves, everyone stares at Zac) ZAC: What? KEVIN: Come on, dude. You can't hide it any more! ZAC: Hide what? CORBIN: It's obvious you and Alyson are together. She's all over you like a lovesick puppy. ZAC: *laughs nervously* Um...I...we're not...*sighs* Guys, we're not dating, honestly. VANESSA: You can tell us anything. We won't laugh at you. ZAC: There's nothing to laugh at! We're not dating! (With that, Zac dumps his tablecloth on the counter and walks out quickly.)
