Nick's POV
I stared at the officer in shock,
"what?! where is she? is she still here?" I said fast, he looked at me funny and nodded,
"yes she's signing out and i think you shoul..." but before he could finish I was sprinting down the corridor. I really hope this isn't another one of her lies, I mean she's not the most trustworthy person in the world! I ran through some double doors and into the waiting room, several people looked up as I ran up to the desk,
"is Alana McKintosh still here?" I asked frantically and slightly out of breath, the lady looked up at me and she shook her head,
"she just left," she said pointing to the doors. I quickly ran out, hoping she was still out there, and nearly fell into someone,
"crap!...sorry!" I said and went to run off again but the person put their hand on my arm,
"Nick!?" I turned around to see Alana staring at me with a tear stained face,
"Alana, I was looking for you!" I said walking back to her, she quickly wiped her face with her sleeve,
"erm how come you got out so soon...I mean I didn't think..." she choked and tears started to spill down her face. I went closer,
"Alana what happened? why didn't you tell me?" I said putting my hands on her shoulders, she shook her head,
"I'm so sorry Nick! I didn't know he was your Dad, I'm sorry he did all those things to you..." she sobbed uncontrollably and I pulled her into a hug,
"Don't be sorry, it wasn't your fault! You helped me and I am really grateful!" I said rubbing her back slightly.
"I should of done something sooner! instead you had to go through all this...I'm really sorry!" she said gripping the back of my jacket and crying into my shoulder, I pulled her back,
"don't be sorry...I should be the one that's sorry! please Alana...what happened?" I said watching her trying to stem the flow of her tears,
"well...erm...I remember it was just after I found out my mum had died, I was so upset because she was the only one I could really talk to, she was like my best friend! Anyway I decided to go to a nightclub with Alexis, we both got really drunk and we sort of separated during the night. I was just sitting at the bar by myself crying, nobody cared enough to ask what was wrong until this one man came and sat next to me..." she paused and looked down, my heart was racing, how could I not have known this? she took a deep breath and continued,
"well he seemed so nice, he asked me what was wrong and he comforted me when I told him...then he started to get all...touchy feely, I felt sort of uncomfortable but I didn't wanna say anything because he was being nice to me. He asked me if I wanted him to get me a taxi and of course I said yes, he must of pretended to call one when he had his phone out so I didn't worry about it. He took me outside and walked me down this alleyway, I thought it was weird we had to wait down there but I shrugged it off until he..he..." she burst into new tears as I wrapped my arms around her,
"I'm so sorry Alana! If I'd known..." I said but she cut me off,
"no it's not your fault, I didn't even know he was your Dad until it came on the news!" she said while I stood frozen,
"the news?!" I gasped, she looked at me,
"well yeah, I saw the paramedics carrying the body out of the house on a stretcher, covered up of course, then they put up a photo of him and I nearly died, I couldn't believe he was your Dad. So when they said that you three had been arrested, I knew I had to do something because well...you've been picked up by the police before and I knew they weren't going to go easy on you..." I stopped her,
"yeah...listen I've got to go, thank you for everything and I really am sorry," I said distractedly and went to walk away,
"wait!" she shouted and grabbed my arm, I looked at her and she suddenly wrapped her arms around my neck and kissed me. I quickly pulled her back,
"No alana, I'm sorry I can't...you know that," I said pulling her arms from my neck, a tear fell down her cheek,
"I'm sorry, it's just I've loved you since forever and I thought...never mind," she said looking down, I gave her shoulder a squeeze,
"I'm sorry alana...I've got to go," I said and walked away....

I put the Fantasy Wedding and took pictures in it. This is story of the animation people, not real people. Rick and Cheyenne animation was great.
Rick's friends are Darrell, Keyshawn and Doug and his brothers Micah and Joaquin attended, as did Cheyenne's friends Quinetta, Antoinette, Rory, Carlene and Darlene.
