History Channel UFO Hunters 202 UFO Emergency 2008-4.avi
Police tapes, video, and the testimony of a radar operator suggest something very strange was seen over Ohio in 1994; Holland, Michigan in 1994; and Millstadt, Illinois in 2000. On December 14, 1994 police departments in Trumbull County, Ohio and surrounding areas start getting 911 calls of strange lights in the sky. Police in multiple jurisdictions report seeing strange objects, even chasing them. Sergeant Toby Meloro of the Liberty Township Police Department was one of the first to respond. The tapes of Meloro's stunning conversation with a police operator as he sees the object are featured in the show, along with an interview with Meloro himself, who says the object he saw looked like a large, pulsating light. For the first time, a National Weather Service radar operator comes forward to describe the radar signatures he saw that night. Says Jack Bushong, "I've never seen anything move so fast.

Clergy abuse settlements reached
22news reporter julie tremmel tell us how the diocese can afford a four point five million dollar settlement in these tight financial times. the diocese of springfield had insurance to cover this type of huge claim....although it's not being disclosed exactly how mucheach will be paid, victims will receive anywhere between 5 thousand and 200 thousand dollars for their suffering. 59 men and women who came forward to talk about past abuse by clergy and religious leaders recently got some measure of closure... a 4.5 million dollar settlement with the catholic diocese of springfield. an offer the diocese acknowledges won't do anything to stop the ongoing pain each victim privately suffers. the diocese remains committed even beyond these settlements, we will continue to serve these victims with our counciling programs...we will walk right beside the victims during this difficult path in their lives this isn't the first time the springfield diocese has paid out a significant amount of cash to settle sex abuse cases, back in 2004, 46 alleged victims walked away with a total of 7 million dollars for the same exact thing im not sure if some people just came running when they heard a dollar sign, a lot of these incidents happened years ago, it took a long time for them to come out of the closet, i don't know, everyone has a conscience, examine your conscience but, john stub-eh-r-ski, an attorney for 28 of the 59 victims says these claims are very real... saying... "this is a bittersweet day (for the victims). unfortunately, this settlement is too little, and too late to heal their pain. there were fewer victims in 2004, and they were (collectively) awarded nearly twice as much." this may not be the final chapter in the diocese of springfield clergy sex abuse case...there are at least 8 more alleged victims not included in this settlement. the diocese says it now cori checks every individual working with children, even volunteers, and has staff trained to recognize the signs of abuse. one interesting note about the money being paid-out to those clergy sex abuse victims?... the diocese' disgraced former bishop has donated some of his own cash to the settlement fund in 2004 springfield bishop thomas dupre suddenly left the area amid allegations he sexually assaulted two young boys. dupre was later indicted on two counts of child rape, but prosecutors didn't pursue the charges because the statute of limitations had expired. today, diocesan spokesman mark dupont confirmed that dupre donated his own money to the fund. bishop dupre did participate in the settlement of the two initial victims who came forward and made allegations against him in 2004 dupont did not disclose the amount of money former bishop dupre contributed to the clergy sex abuse "victim fund."
