The Bible and You
Modern critics say that the Bible is unscientific and contradictory, that it is just a collection of myths. Jesus, on the other hand, said: Your [Gods] word is truth. (John 17:17) The evidence supports Jesus rather than the critics. The facts show that the Bible is historically truthful. Moreover, its remarkable harmony, its true prophecies, its deep wisdom, and its power for good in peoples lives all demonstrate that the Bible is the written Word of God. As the apostle Paul wrote: All Scripture is inspired of God and beneficial.—2 Timothy 3:16.
THE fact that the Bible is Gods word, not mans, has profound implications. It means that God really has communicated with humans. He has answered many of our questions and has shown the solution to many of our problems. It also means that the prospects for the future described in the Bible are genuine. Gods Kingdom really is ruling and in time will act to remove from this earth all injustice, oppression, and suffering.
2 Now, the question is: What will you do with this information? At the very least, the knowledge that the Bible is Gods Word should encourage you to look into it. The psalmist promised happiness for those who do so when he wrote: Happy is the man that has not walked in the counsel of the wicked ones . . . but his delight is in the law of Jehovah, and in his law he reads in an undertone day and night.—Psalm 1:1, 2.

Peace 'Now' !!!
I originally planned on producing this video in support of the 'Global Cease Fire Day Peace Campaign' which calls for 'a day of no wars' on 21 December 2012. You can read about and add your support to the Campaign at the following website...

The year 2012 seems 'forever away'... and if we continue on our current path, with the killing and destruction that is 'the War on Terror'... it may well turn out to be 'forever away' !
'Now' is the time that we (as an International Community) need to be 'demanding an end to war, and the disarmament of all Weapons of Mass Destruction' !
It is my belief that 'Education' is the key to World Peace... especially if 'through education' we are able to instil an understanding and appreciation of the beliefs of different cultures and religions... and we can learn to respect the right of all people 'to believe as they choose to believe'. Whilst we can certainly endeavour to correct any 'misunderstanding' that people may have... and highlight to them what is wrong with what they believe... we should do so in a manner that enables them to maintain their `self-respect', and in no way suggests that they are being forced to change their beliefs ! We are individual human beings... and tolerance and respect of that 'individuality' is vital for the growth of any relationship. The moment we try to take away from 'an individual's right to be who and what they are, and we try to force our own individual beliefs upon them'... the relationship is on a downhill path to nowhere. The same applies to any aspirations we may have of achieving and maintaining a peaceful and respectful relationship between different cultures and beliefs !
The 'Threat of Nuclear Warfare' is a major consideration as far as the achievement of World Peace is concerned... because as long as there is a fear that our lives are in danger from countries that are in possession of Nuclear Weapons... it is very difficult to foresee a world where mankind is truly able to live in peace ! 'Education' again plays a vital role in the achievement of Nuclear Disarmament (and that of all other forms of Weapons of Mass Destruction) in that it can serve as a reminder of a tragic past, where an entire people suffered devastating consequences. Once we have instilled (through Education) a tolerance and respect toward each other as individual human beings, and we are able to appreciate how what happened to the People of Hiroshima and Nagasaki was totally unacceptable... we can then move toward ensuring the removal of any possibility of history repeating itself, in that as an International Community we will be demanding that our own individual Governments either 'disarm... or be overthrown' !
An additional point to consider, is the impact that 'poverty' has on the achievement of World Peace. If we (as an International Community) demand that our individual Governments cease spending enormous amounts of money on Weaponry... and instead, spend it on alleviating 'poverty throughout the world'... we will truly be able to say that we live in a world where all people are able to live in peace and dignity !
Peace through Education... Not through Bloodshed !!!
