Molly woke up early the next morning to call Joe. She couldnt even wait. As she slowly dialed the numbers on the sheet of crinkled paper in her hand, she pressed send. The phone rung 4 times then.
JOE: Ugh, yeah?
MOLLY: Thats how you answer your phone?
JOE: (Realizing it was Molly) Oh! I thought it was one of my parents!
MOLLY: Mhm, of course. Lets try that again
Molly hung up and dialed the numbers quickly again. He picked up on the first ring.
JOE: Hello, this is the Jonas residence, Joseph speaking.
MOLLY: (Giggling) Much better.
JOE: Ha, wow I cant believe you really called me back.
MOLLY: (Grunting quietly then laughing)
JOE: What?
MOLLY: Its just funny you think I wouldnt like you.
JOE: Oh, so you do like me
MOLLY: Now, when did I say that?
JOE: Just now.
MOLLY: How do you know if I like you?
JOE: I dont know. Maybe we can discuss it over dinner.
MOLLY: Maybe.
JOE: Cool, Ill pick you up at 8, tonight
And with those last words, Joe hung up the phone. Molly laughed and jumped onto her bed. She couldnt stop smiling. She had a date with Joe Jonas. I mean, Joe Jonas, how much better could it get? She decided to get ready at about noon after she ate lunch.
MOLLY: (Texting Joe) Can you bring your brothers, my sister doesnt believe me
JOE: (Texting Molly) Of course, its the same over here.
Molly picked her outfit carefully and she finally decided on black skinny jeans, a pink and green halter top, and a black belt across the shirt. She straightened her hair and pulled it half back and her long brown hair stretched down her back. She was ready. Finally, the doorbell rung
HAILEY: Ill get it!
MOLLY: (Whispering to herself) 5,4,3,2-
HAILEY: AHHHH!
NICK: OH!
MOLLY: (Running down the stairs) What did I tell you Hailey?
HAILEY: (Speechless)
KEVIN: Wow, Joe you were telling the truth
JOE: Yea, when do I not?
Kevin and Nick looked at him and burst out laughing. Hailey looked at Molly in awe. Joe looked at Mollys outfit and smiled to himself
JOE: Ready to go?
MOLLY: Yea, just about, let me go get my bag though.
JOE: Ill be thinking about you.
MOLLY: (Giggled as she ran quickly up the steps)
HAILEY: Wow, you know I really didnt believe her
KEVIN+NICK: Neither did we.
HAILEY: Im Hailey
KEVIN: Im K-
HAILEY: I know who you are. She always talks about you guys!
Molly ran back down the steps.
JOE: Lets go.
