Dropping and Sliding down the Slipface of the Oceano Dunes Surf N' Turf 2008
Perched over the top of a 20 foot+ Drop, you need to commit when sliding down the slipface of a dune. Being that a slipface is soft sand that built up by the drifting of the wind it is extremely soft and you can potentially slide to the side and roll over. It is best to drop your nose over the edge and keep the wheels moving at about 5mph. make sure to keep moving straight ahead and not at an angle.

Surf N' Turf 2008 Finding a Circle Track at Oceano Dunes
We found a great tabletop around a bowl at the south end of Oceano dunes and created a circle track about a 1/2mile in diameter. Great fun, amazing how much faster 50mph feels inside compared to what it looks like from the outside. We raced a FJ40 the day before on it, definitely more fun racing with other people!!! Wanna go?
