I know Menah but he was acting so strangeI know I worry too much but..you werent even paying attention!..flirting.like you even knew we were there!.okay okay whateverhold on my mom is calling me. Kate pushed the talk button and answered the phone. She knew it must be important because it was only 5 and her mom never called during work unless they werent busy, which was very rare.
KATE: Hello?
KATES MOM: Hey honey, how was the rehearsal?
KATE: Okay I guess. Whats up?
KATES MOM: Well your father just called. You know that song you wrote?
KATE: Sure, what about it?
KATES MOM: Well your dads producer thinks you have real talent and he wants to meet with you.
KATE: Are you serious!?!
KATES MOM: So very
KATE: Well, when? Details, details!
KATES MOM: Well he wants to meet you tonight. Your dad was going to record some tonight and he figured you could just go with him.
KATE: But dad goes around 7 or so.
KATES MOM: Yea.whats wrong with that?
KATE: Well the concert is tonight.
KATES MOM: Well Im sure Menah, Allanah and the boys will understand.
KATE: But Kevin had something to tell me.
KATES MOM: Okay what if you go hang out before the show and then go with your dad?
KATE: Okay I guess.
KATES MOM: Okay well I have to get back to work but good luck and have fun honey. I love you.
KATE: I love you too mom.
Kate pushed the talk button and told Menah the whole story. Once she hung up with Menah she figured she had better call Kevin and tell him the news.
JOE: Hello?
KATE: Hey Joe, is Kevin there?
JOE: Ummm..hold on.
KATE: Joe?
JOE: Yeah?
KATE: Not to be rude but why are you answering Kevins phone.
JOE: He had it but he went for a walk and left it here. Hes not back I guess.
KATE: He went for a walk in LA..alone?
JOE: Yeah he needed to think he said.
KATE: Is everything ok?
JOE: Well he has been dealing with some stuff lately.
KATE: Like what? Im sorry if im being nosy but he was acting weird earlier.
JOE: Well im not supposed to say anything
KATE: Joe thats not fair!
JOE: Okay im only telling you this because I can already tell your going to be one of my best friends.
KATE: *giggling* Okay
JOE: His ex keeps calling him and she wants to get back together with him. She just started this about a week ago and they broke up about a year ago. She keeps telling him she misses him and she messed up and all of this junk.
KATE: So..what does he think of all of this?
JOE: Well he loved her but she hurt him and he was just healing you know? And I think you helped him a lot. I mean he hasnt even so much as looked at a girl in a long time. She hurt him that bad. But with youI dont know how to explain it.
KATE: Why wont he just tell me?
JOE: Well I think hes confused and also doesnt know how to tell you. But I know he likes you so I wouldnt worry too much.
KATE: Has he said anything? About me I mean?
JOE: Hey a brother has to draw the line somewhere! I already gave away too much!
KATE: Were best friends remember?
JOE: *laughs* okay okay, he said he liked you and you made him forget her.
KATE: Until now?
JOE: She wont leave him alone so now he doesnt know what to do. Kevin is a nice guy and doesnt want to hurt her. Or you.
KATE: Well thanks for trying to help me.
JOE: Hey, thats what friends are for.
KATE: Best friends *giggles*
JOE: *laughs* right, best friends. So are you coming tonight still?
KATE: About that----
JOE: Hold on, Kevin is here. Just one sec.
KEVIN: Kate?
KATE: Hey
KEVIN: Hey, is something wrong?
KATE: No..why?
KEVIN: No reason I just thought I wouldnt talk to you until tonight.
KATE: Do you not want to talk to me?
KEVIN: NO! No I didnt mean that!
KATE: Well I have something to tell you.
KEVIN: Is everything ok?
KATE: Yeah but about the show tonight

Breaking Dawn part 36
There were deep circles under her eyes, dark circles that jumped out because her face was all haggard. Was she thinner? Her skin seemed tight —like her cheekbones might break right through it. Most of her dark hair was pulled away from her face into a messy knot, but a few strands stuck limply to her forehead and neck, to the sheen of sweat that covered her skin. There was something about her fingers and wrists that looked so fragile it was scary.
She was sick. Very sick.
Not a lie. The story Charlie'd told Billy was not a story. While I stared, eyes bugging, her skin turned light green.
The blond bloodsucker —the showy one, Rosalie—bent over her, cutting into my view, hovering in a strange, protective way.
This was wrong. I knew how Bella felt about almost everything —her thoughts were so obvious; sometimes it was like they were printed on her forehead. So she didn't have to tell me every detail of a situation for me to get it. I knew that Bella didn't like Rosalie. I'd seen it in the set of her lips when she talked about her. Not just that she didn't like her. She was afraid of Rosalie. Or she had been.
There was no fear as Bella glanced up at her now. Her expression was... apologetic or something. Then Rosalie snatched a basin from the floor and held it under Bella's chin just in time for Bella to throw up noisily into it.
Edward fell to his knees by Bella's side —his eyes all tortured-looking—and Rosalie held out her hand, warning him to keep back.
None of it made sense.
When she could raise her head, Bella smiled weakly at me, sort of embarrassed. "Sorry about that," she whispered to me.
Edward moaned real quiet. His head slumped against Bella's knees. She put one of her hands against his cheek. Like she was comforting him.
I didn't realize my legs had carried me forward until Rosalie hissed at me, suddenly appearing between me and the couch. She was like a person on a TV screen. I didn't care she was there. She didn't seem real.
"Rose, don't," Bella whispered. "It's fine."
Blondie moved out of my way, though I could tell she hated to do it. Scowling at me, she crouched by Bella's head, tensed to spring. She was easier to ignore than I ever would have dreamed.
"Bella, what's wrong?" I whispered. Without thinking about it, I found myself on my knees, too, leaning over the back of the couch across from her... husband. He didn't seem to notice me, and I barely glanced at him. I reached out for her free hand, taking it in both of mine. Her skin was icy. "Are you all right?"
It was a stupid question. She didn't answer it.
"I'm so glad you came to see me today, Jacob," she said.
Even though I knew Edward couldn't hear her thoughts, he seemed to hear some meaning I didn't. He moaned again, into the blanket that covered her, and she stroked his cheek.
"What is it, Bella?" I insisted, wrapping my hands tight around her cold, fragile fingers.

**Cordy's POV**
I woke up and it was just after 9am. urghh im so tired. i spent most of the night thinking about what Iris said. does Joe like me? Oh well it doesnt matter i dont like him. or do i? oh i dont know. first i thought he was a jerk, then he was alright. then he was a jerk again then last night he was so sweet. and i felt like i could talk to him which is strange coz i dont feel like i can talk to anyone. maybe there is somthing there. hmm, maybe i'll talk to him later about it. Iris awoke me from my thoughts*
**No POV**
Iris: You coming down from breakfast *She yelled from down stairs*
Cordy: YEA! I'll be there in a few! *She had a shower and got dressed and went downstairs. Iris and Vye were already up and eating* Morning
Iris/Vye: Morning
cordy: Wheres mum?
Vye: Attic, she said somthing about a new spell or somthing.. i dunno i wasnt listening haha
Cordy: figures. what time is Joe getting here *She realsied what she just said * I mean the boys, what time are the boys getting here?
Iris: Smooth Cordy, haha, um i dunno they didnt say- *the doorbell rang* how about now haha *She answered the door and they came inside*
Boys: Hey
Vye: Morning
Cordy: Hey *She looked down at her food. Joe came over to her*
Joe: Hey you, you feeling better?
Cordy: *without looking up* Um yea im good thanks
Joe: You ok? you seem a little weird
Cordy: Um yea. actually i need to talk to you later if thats ok
Joe: Sure, what about
cordy: I'll tell you later
Kev: So what do you lovelyladies want to do on this fine Saturday
Iris: How about shopping?
Cordy: actually im a little tired still i might go back to bed, you guys go though i'll see you when you get back
Vye: Oh ok, shopping it is then *everyone got up and headed out. Cordy went back up to bed. after about an hour a noise woke her up. she opened her eyes and turned around*
Cordy: Holy crap you scared the shit outta me!! What are you doing here?
So who was in her room??? and what will happen when she talks to Joe later???
